New hires, new clients and new films at Sound & Colour

New starter Jones with 2022 hires Harper and Byrne (l-r)

South Manchester-based film production agency, Sound & Colour Films has had a successful start to 2023, with a new hire to join its recent new client wins.

Jenny Jones joins Sound & Colour as marketing and development manager bringing with her over 12 years experience in the creative industry and a wealth of market knowledge. Jones joins a further two hires made in 2022 – film maker and photographer James Harper and apprentice Jack Byrne who is currently studying the Level 3 Certified Content Creator course at the highly commended Juice Academy, dubbed the UK’s first industry-led social media apprenticeship.

The trio have cumulatively doubled the agency’s headcount, and further growth plans lie ahead in 2023.

Sound & Colour is also celebrating some high profile new account wins, including EA Sports and Booking.com.

Working with EA Sports, it has produced social content for football clubs including Manchester City FC, Chelsea FC and Liverpool FC, while Booking.com appointed the agency to produce a pivotal film to showcase their impressive new 175,000 sq ft campus at Manchester’s Enterprise City, which officially opened earlier this month.

The film, which has just been released, includes drone, hyperlapse and extensive filming in the space. It’s been shared across the Booking.com network with an overwhelming response from key stakeholders and key Manchester figures.
