Cowgill Holloway Business Recovery has been appointed administrator of Manchester presentation and design agency Buffalo7 after the company entered voluntary administration.
The Northern Quarter-based agency, which has worked with big names including UEFA, the British Olympic team and JD Sports, voted to wind up in January, according to documents published in The Gazette, the official journal of record of the UK government.
The official announcement said: “Notice is given that by written resolutions, the members of the company passed a special resolution that the company be wound up voluntarily, and an ordinary resolution appointing the Joint Liquidators for the purposes of the winding-up.”
Staff at Buffalo7 have claimed to Prolific North that wages have been widely unpaid since before Christmas, 2022, while debts remain outstanding to a number of creditors.
Holding company Buffalo7 Holdings appeared to still be active at the time administrators were appointed, with £158,836 shown as being due to creditors when it last submitted accounts to Companies House, in June 2022, for the year to October 31 2021.
Prolific North has contacted Cowgill Holloway for further information.
