Leeds based Vet-tech firm Vet-AI and insurtech Waggel have entered a collaboration which will offer policyholders unlimited access to Vet-AI’s revolutionary app, Joii Pet Care.
Waggel insurance customers can now benefit from Joii Pet Care’s 24/7 vet video consultations, which usually cost £24 per call, as well as vet nurse consultations and an innovative symptom checker.
The commercial agreement forms part of Vet-AI’s partnership strategy, providing affordable and convenient veterinary care so that owners can access regular, preventative advice which supports dogs and cats to live happier, healthier lives. Vet-AI also partners with Animal Friends Insurance, ASDA Money and Purely Pets.
Matt Elcock, Chief Operating Officer of Vet-AI, said: “The insurance market is fast evolving and we felt there was great synergy between Joii Pet Care and Waggel as disruptors in our respective sectors. Both are at the cutting edge of technology and innovation, underpinned by a drive to help pet owners conveniently access services online.
