Social Chain and Flight Story founder, Steven Bartlett has launched a new $100m fund to “accelerate the next generation of European Unicorns.”

The Flight Story Fund will focus on individual investments between $1m and $10m in high-growth companies in the blockchain, biotech, health & wellbeing, commerce, technology and space sectors.

It will be “powered” by Bartlett and a network of entrepreneurs, with the aim of becoming “the most successful private equity fund in Europe.”

“Throughout the last decade, I developed an immense network of the most successful entrepreneurs in Europe. Flight Story Fund connects the founders to the investment and tools they need to catapult them through their growth trajectory to accelerate their timeline to Unicorn status,’ stated Bartlett.

“I’ve been on the journey myself and now I am helping other skilled founders succeed in the same way. The launch of the Flight Story Fund is an invitation to Europe’s best entrepreneurs from Europe’s best companies – come and take flight with us.”

That immense network comes through the IPO of Social Chain, his The Diary Of A CEO podcast, plus being the youngest “Dragon” on the BBC’s Dragon’s Den.

Bartlett, who said he would be particularly focused on inspiring a new generation of entrepreneurs and creators from a BAME background, added that founders backed by the Fund would receive marketing and communications from his consultancy, Flight Story.
