One of Ben Wild’s sketches
Ben Wild Studios was commissioned two years ago by B4 Films to utilise his skills and experience to bring to life the transformation of the stately home via illustration and animation. Wild created illustrations to show the audience the transformation of the estate, as well creating an animated map to visually take people around the stately home. He also created the title sequence which opened the show on ITV1.
Wild, said: “I have had quite a few ‘pinch-me’ moments over the last couple of years but this is top of my career highlights. Being asked to work on a project with King Charles III was a huge honour. As this is the first major programme that has been aired since King Charles III took the reign, the World’s eyes were watching and got to see my work, which is an incredible feeling.”
Wild created both animations and titles for the show
Jim Brown, Chairman of B4 Films added: “Working with Ben on this project was an easy choice as we know that King Charles III has always been committed to supporting the next generation of talent. We knew he would greatly admire Ben’s story so saw a perfect opportunity to shine the light on Ben’s talent on a global stage.”
Ben, who is self-taught, left school at 15 to follow his dreams and has travelled the world to learn his craft. From working on a comic book, then landing a job with a film studio working as an on-site storyboard artist, to working with Manchester City and Gucci, Ben has drawn up an impressive list of clients in recent years.
