Knowsley-based software company Leaf One has received a £90,000 Northern Powerhouse investment.
The Software as a Service (SaaS) has secured the investment from NPIF – River & GC Microfinance, which River Capital manages in partnership with GC Business Finance as part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund.
Leaf One, which was established in 2021, provides cloud-based products, including its flagship Sample Track software, which empower businesses utilising laboratories as part of their sample testing process. It will use the cash injection to support its product development and create new jobs at its head office.
Ian Bufton, managing director and chief technology officer of Leaf One, said: “We are delighted and proud to receive this funding from River Capital and NPIF which will see us accelerate our growth through innovation and people. Our markets are expanding dramatically and with our management team of experienced people we can capture a sizeable share of our existing and new market segments.”
