The BBC has issued a tender for a four-year marketing print contract worth £1.6m and encompassing a wide array of print requirements.
The tender description says the BBC’s requirements are for internal communication or external promotion.
It stated: “The print requirements also include low volume despatch and design capacity in the event the BBC needs to create basic designs or modify/update artwork.”
The main print requirements are made up of BBC annual report and accounts, Prospero magazine and summary report, pension payslips letter, and the annual printing of the Proms guides, Proms programmes, and programmes for the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and BBC Singers.
The tender also includes BBC internal calendars, the BBC Countryfile calendar, BBC corporate branded stationery, business cards, compliment slips, letter headed paper, and BBC branded envelopes, BBC manual purchase order pads, BBC props return pads, BBC facilities fee pads, and supporting artist forms.
Miscellaneous marketing print, that the BBC said is usually campaign led, will also feature.
The tender will close at 2pm on 2 December, with the contract starting on 1 March 2023 and due to end on 28 February 2027.
