Secure cloud company, Howell Technology Group (HTG) has recruited a Head of Security and Principle Cyber Security Architect as part of its growth plans.
The appointment comes as the Hebburn-based firm projects a £30m turnover and an increase in staff numbers to 130.
The appropriately named Stephen Hackers is a qualified ethical hacker and is acknowledged as one of the region’s most senior technical experts. He joins from HS2 where he was IT Security Operations Manager

HTG has offices in the North East, London, Edinburgh and Belfast.

As part of the growth, the company has also recruited Louise Roughley into the newly created role of Head of HR.
