PR agency Paver Smith, which works with the Sci-Tech Daresbury Enterprise Zone, has this week been appointed to manage the creative and PR requirements of three businesses in the sector.
The Sci-Tech Daresbury Enterprise Zone is one of the Government’s two national designated science campuses.
One of the new clients, Daresbury-based Arcis Biotechnology, has developed new technology which is proven to kill superbugs in less than a minute.
The other new clients who have just signed up with Pavers are a medical technology company and a pharmaceutical firm.
The agency’s science and technology roster already includes Liverpool companies Redx Pharma and Redx Oncology and Cheshire-based IT solutions provider Adept4.
Pavers is also assisting US technology company Global BioDiagnostics with a global product development announcement.
Paver Smith managing partner (a former deputy editor of the Liverpool Echo) Jon Brown said: “The sci-tech world is rapidly becoming an area of speciality for us.
“They are often fascinating businesses, developing products and services which have the potential to be globally significant. Science and technology businesses account for a significant and growing proportion of our fee income and it’s an area where we see real potential.”
Paver Smith employs 25 staff across its offices in Liverpool, Manchester and London.
The agency’s co-founder and senior partner, Dougal Paver, operates primarily out of the London office in a business development role.
