Ted Lasso is coming to FIFA 2023

Ted Lasso, played by Jason Sudeikis, has been one of Apple TV’s most successful shows since it launched in 2020. It follows the fictional team AFC Richmond after a clueless, if loveable, American head coach is appointed.

Sudeikis said. “We look forward to our fans having the opportunity to play with, play as, and even play against their favourite AFC Richmond characters.”

As well as Lasso, Richmond players including Roy Kent, Jamie Tartt, Sam Obisanya and Dani Rojas will be in the 2023 game, as well as AFC Richmond’s Nelson Road stadium, which is actually Crystal Palace’s Selhurst Park. Lasso will also be selectable as a manager in career mode.
