Strategic marketing consultancy, Ireland, has just been selected to oversee all the Skelwith Fold’s holiday park marketing activity.
Acting in an outsourced marketing director role, it will be delivering an initial marketing and digital consultation project, including establishing the marketing strategy and provision of a full implementation plan.
Ireland will also be responsible for training and mentoring the internal marketing team, helping them to better create and plan content, and establishing a more complete marketing function.
Director Ian Ireland said: “For such an iconic holiday resort, [Skelwith Fold] has until recently really flown below the radar in terms of engaging its incredibly loyal and proud existing audience base and reaching out to new groups. A lack of consistency of brand and messaging has been coupled with no clear digital marketing strategy. All curable though and we can’t wait to get started making some quick wins.”
Henry Wild, owner of Skelwith Fold, and former chair of the Holiday Park Association, added: “Having worked with Ian several years ago, once I knew he had set up on his own it was a no brainer for me.
