Versa Studios, which hosts BBC’s Morning Live in its central Manchester studios has added to its senior management team.
The company is set to run more than a dozen studios across the city with its Versa ABC Skyline Studio in Manchester’s ABC Building, as well as having taken over the operation of the Manchester Studios complex.
Joining its Manchester operations will be Edward Harvey, the former Head of Studios Management for The London Studios. Harvey becomes Studios and Strategy Manager.
He’ll be working with new Operations Manager, Carrie Reynolds, who previously ran BBC Studios in Glasgow and ITV Daytime in London.
Versa will take over the Manchester Studios complex, based around the former Granada Television building, with refurbishment of the 12 studios, motion-capture facility and music recording studio set to be completed in the next 12 months.
It said it had already brought in a prime BBC show and a “show for a major streaming service” to the studios.
