Following Sarah Doole’s departure as CEO of Red Production Co, owner StudioCanal has revealed who will steer it while a replacement is found.
Alex Hamilton (pictured, right), Chief Executive of StudioCanal UK and Françoise Guyonnet (pictured, left), Executive MD of TV Series, will temporarily step up to oversee the MediaCity-based production company.
StudioCanal has announced it is in the process of setting up a team to manage “during this period of transition”, which will be supported by the duo.
Last week, it was revealed that Sarah Doole, whe replaced Red founder Nicola Shindler as CEO in September 2020, had departed from the studio to focus on Sow The Seed, the incubator Doole launched to focus on “new talent and under-represented voices.”
