Definition Group has completed 2 more acquisitions, marking a “significant step change” in its “growth strategy.”
The company, which is based in Leeds and London, has bought Manchester brand strategy and experience consultancy Brand Vista, and Schwa, a London firm specialising in tone of voice.
It means Definition has acquired 5 companies in 18 months, bringing its total revenue to £10m and adding a new office in Manchester.
“These two acquisitions represent a significant step-change in our ambitious growth strategy, broadening our sector expertise, expanding our geographic spread and enhancing our service offering,” said Nigel Howes, Chairman of Definition Group.
“With this enlarged capability, we can now offer clients a broader range of services, delivered by award-winning experts, using a truly integrated approach.”
Management consultancy, Brand Vista, specialises in brand strategy and the “alignment of customer and colleague experiences.” Its client list includes David Lloyd, Merlin Entertainments Group, Iceland and Fiat Agricultural.

Schwa works with John Lewis, Marks & Spencer, PepsiCo and Sony Music. Its team of writers, trainers and psychologists who use tone of voice and behavioural science to help organisations engage better with customers and colleagues.
Stothert and Neil Taylor, co-founder of Schwa, will join the Definition Group board as executive directors. Jim Horsley, Schwa Co-founder, will join as a non-executive director.
