Big Four firm EY has revealed that it plans to take headcount in Manchester from 800 to 2,000 over the next four years, with a focus on roles in tech.
Having secured investment, the professional services network, whose base in the city is at 2 St Peter’s Square, is set to more than double in size in Manchester by 2026 with 1,200 hires.
It has stated that its recruitment plans will revolve around technology, transformation, and strategy roles. New joiners will expand its capabilities in specialisms like Microsoft, ServiceNow, cloud, data analytics, and cyber.
