The owners of the AO Arena have named Jen Mitchell as the new General Manager of the Manchester venue.
Mitchell moves over from the first direct Arena in Leeds, where she’s been General Manger for the last 5 years.
“I am thrilled to be joining the team at the iconic AO Arena and to be able to continue my career within the ASM Global family,” said Mitchell.
“There are exciting times ahead, and I look forward to being part of the journey as the venue continues to grow and bring world class entertainment to our valued partners and customers.”
Mitchell’s 23+ year career in the venue and entertainment industry, has seen her based around the world, including Qatar and Australia. She also worked on the opening of Kings Place, London, which held 100 concerts in its first five days.
“Jen has vast experience and a proven track record in delivering excellent results throughout her career, including her time at the first direct Arena in Leeds,” added Marie Lindqvist, SVP Operations Europe of ASM Global.
“Jen comes with great business acumen and is skilled in developing high-performing teams. So, we’re delighted that Jen is remaining a part of the ASM Global team.”
She will take up the new role in April.
