Marketing communications agency MC2 has partnered with Fund Her North to raise awareness of the finance available for female entrepreneurs in the North.
Fund Her North is a volunteer collective made up of over 28 women from venture capital firms, funding organisations and angel groups across the North with a combined investment power of over £450m.
The organisation’s goal is to ensure female founders and investors across the North are made aware of the support, network and capital available to them.
Manchester-based MC2 will support Fund Her North’s ambitions to champion female founders by delivering campaigns to raise awareness of its network of investors.
Founded by Helen Oldham, Jess Jackson, Charlotte Ashton, Samantha Piddington, Jordan Dargue, and Chi-chi Ekweozor, Fund Her North has an investment track record of over £75m invested in female-led businesses.
It was set up in light of The Alison Rose Review of female entrepreneurship, commissioned by The Treasury, which found that there is a £250bn opportunity for the UK economy by boosting female entrepreneurship.
