The BBC is to broadcast a new two-part special on Victoria Wood this Christmas.
Victoria Wood: The Secret List (2x60min) is a hand-picked countdown of Wood’s personal favourite moments from her television shows, discovered on a list in one of her personal notebooks after her death four years ago.
It’s a Phil McIntyre Television Production for BBC Two and was commissioned by Patrick Holland, Controller BBC Two and Jo Wallace, Acting Controller Entertainment Commissioning.
Both programmes will feature previously unseen insights into Victoria’s life, including clips from her own personal archive, and include contributions from a number of well-known faces.
In another BBC Two highlight this Christmas, Bob Mortimer will return to his childhood roots in Middlesbrough for an hour-long special, Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Christmas Fishing.
Mortimer will fish the River Esk and Tees with his friend and angling mentor Paul Whitehouse.
The 60-minute special is made by Owl Power.
