Sheffield agency Über has again worked with tombola on its sponsorship of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, which returns to ITV this Sunday.

Despite the whole production being moved from the Australian jungle to Gwrych Castle in North Wales, the agency’s “Mini Bug Camp” concept remains the same, with a range of new scenarios for the jungle critters.

Starting with a two-week ITV teaser spot, running all the way up to the first show on Sunday, the campaign will feature more than 30 all-new castle-based idents, and will run across the three-week duration of the show.

Über’s creative will also be used across a range of online mediums, and is aimed at building brand awareness around the tombola arcade brand, which sits within tombola’s gaming portfolio.

Tombola first secured the sought-after multi-year sponsorship deal for I’m A Celebrity in 2017.

Über MD Greg Clark said: “We are all becoming very used to changing and adapting our plans in 2020. So, when we were informed of the new location for the show, the knee jerk reaction was that it would need all-new creative. However, the current creative has worked incredibly well since its inception and we still have lots of scope for it to develop, so we found a way to bring the jungle bugs to the Welsh castle.

“It’s given a great new slant to the concept and we are looking forward to sitting back with everyone and watching it play out on what should be a great new twist to an iconic show.”

The spots were produced by Rae & Eve and One Bright Dot handled the post production.
