Leeds-based Hatch Communications has been appointed by drinks producer Intercontinental Brands (ICB), manufacturers of Cactus Jack’s, Messer Schmitt and TW Kempton gin liqueurs.
The PR, social and activation agency will run Harrogate-based ICB’s corporate and consumer brand PR. The drinks labels produced by the company are stocked across most UK suprermarkets including Aldi, Tesco, Asda and more, and are exported internationally.
Hatch will help ICB secure coverage for its portfolio of existing brands, and raise awareness of the B2B services on offer from ICB. It will also design and implement a series of creative campaigns for a number of ICB’s latest brand launches.
ICB was founded in 1990 and has two sites across North Yorkshire. It has links with other successful local brands, including the award-winning Slingsby Gin, which is also in Harrogate.
Clare Gibson, Marketing Director at ICB, said: “Hatch impressed us with their creative and strategic approach to the brief and the exciting launches we have in the pipeline. We’re really looking forward to developing our partnership with the Hatch team and we believe Hatch’s expertise and experience will help us take our media presence to the next level.”
James Hickman, Director at Hatch Communications, added: “We’re delighted to be working with the team at ICB and are excited to get underway with the activity. The past nine months have been challenging in more ways than one, and look forward to supporting ICB and across the roster of their brands, allowing us to showcase our creativity in the drinks sector, as well as promoting the contract bottling and packaging services.”
