Animmersion UK and Onyx Health have formed a “lockdown partnership” to employ immersive technology in the healthcare sector.
It follows the release of Animmersion UK’s Virtual interactive Events (VIE) service in April. The companies hope that the system can help healthcare professionals interact without personal contact or international travel.
“Businesses are having to evolve quickly to new ways of working, including the application of new technologies and Onyx Health has been quick to identify how VIE can support clients in their marketplace,” said Samuel Harrison, Managing Director of Animmersion UK.
“This new collaboration demonstrates that business and innovation can carry on, even in the toughest of times, and we are very much looking forward to a positive relationship with Onyx Health.”
Newcastle-based Onyx Health is now using the VIE concept to support clients working in life sciences, pharmaceutical and medical technologies markets.
Working entirely remotely, teams from both companies are developing the product specifically to meet the needs of the healthcare sector.
