Manchester finance and technology communications agency Galibier has been chosen to deliver a new campaign for financial services brand Fluid Trust.

The objective is to grow Fluid’s reputation as a credible, competitive mid-sized lender in the alternative finance sector.

Galibier, which was founded in 2013, already works for global financial services clients including Pepper Group, Paymentshield, FinTech North and Unisys.

Manchester-headquartered Fluid was founded by Ansar Mahmood, director of Pomegranate Consulting, and aims to raise a facility of £500million to provide business-to-business bridging loans.

Oliver Chesher, Managing Director of Galibier PR, said: “Fluid is a company with immense talent and experience, a fresh, energetic approach to lending, and perhaps most importantly a genuine care for stimulating the UK property market in areas where it is most needed.

“The alternative finance sector continues to be a fast-growing one; we saw bridging lending and other alternative development funding models boom at the end of the last decade, as the market continued to diversify away from traditional routes.

“Our aim is to use our expertise to see Fluid become a standout amongst mid-sized alternative lenders, and make its name synonymous with prudence and credibility.”

Ansar Mahmood, founder of Fluid, added: “Galibier has a solid track record in financial services PR, and we already have a lot in common with the team. We feel confident that we’ve chosen a partner that shares our vision for Fluid’s future, and one that forensically understands the needs and the culture of our business.

“It is always a pleasure to work with a tight network of partners in our own city, and we hope that, as we begin this new decade, this new campaign becomes a long and fruitful one.”
