Today, we reveal some of the organisations who are partnering up with Digital City Festival to showcase and celebrate truly remarkable industry innovation.

These companies each play an essential role in bringing together businesses and individuals to nurture collaboration and improvement, and we’re delighted to have them endorsing the festival.

As media partners, they are spreading the word about DCF2020, which will see companies from across the UK and further afield come together to network, innovate, and learn from each other from March 9th to 13th.

Mo Aldalou, North West Entrepreneur Engagement Manager at Tech Nation, said: “We’re incredibly excited to partner with Digital City Festival to support Manchester’s already strong and incredibly collaborative ecosystem, which at Tech Nation, we are proud to be a part of.”

Tech Nation will exhibit at the expo, be live-tweeting throughout the festival and also host a fringe event – details to be announced soon.

Mo added: “As a national organisation with a growing team based in Manchester, forming partnerships with key regional events such as Digital City Festival supports our efforts of building a truly national network of ambitious digital tech entrepreneurs across the UK.

“Manchester is already attracting national and international attention for being an eCommerce powerhouse with five unicorns and I’m confident that Digital City Festival will only further cement the city’s reputation as one of Europe’s leading tech hubs.”

You can now register to attend the cornerstone event of the week-long festival, Digital City Expo, where you’ll be able to connect with impressive businesses and hear speaker sessions from the most influential industry figures from across the tech, eCommerce, and marketing sectors.

The Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, who hosted the DCF launch party last year, is a strategic partner for the festival.

Chris Fletcher, Marketing and Campaigns Director at GMCC, said: “We are really pleased to be working with and playing a part in delivering the first-ever Digital City Festival. It is an ambitious, new and inspired way of putting the city and its businesses on the map, not just to the rest of the UK but to a worldwide audience too.

“There are great things happening here and we are proud to play our part in helping make it happen. It is going to be a great success and we are sure it will become a regular fixture on many people’s schedules.”

Another important media partner for the festival is Creative North, run by Hampson Nattan Williams, which is a yearly conference that brings together creative copywriting, content marketing and business coaching experts for a day full of insightful talks and networking. They will also be running a DCF fringe event with details being announced soon.

Others include the PRCA, a trade association for the country’s PR sector and BIMA, a not-for-profit industry network of workers across digital agencies, startups, brands, and freelancers.

Operating in 66 countries around the world, the PRCA has offices in the UK, Singapore, and Dubai. Its responsibilities include promoting all aspects of public relations and communications work, and helping groups maximise the value they deliver to clients and organisations.

Nationally, BIMA acts as a liaison with academia and the government, uniting as a voice for its members and aiming to drive commercial growth in the digital sector.

Both London-headquartered Digital Agency Network, a global digital agency network which focuses on collaboration, knowledge-sharing and business support, and the Amsterdam-headquartered Payments and Cards Network, are also on board.

If you want to find out more about any of the festival’s media partners, visit the Media Stand at Digital City Expo on March 11th and 12th.
