After a “challenging” end to 2019, following the demise of Thomas Cook, Absurd has won two new contracts.
The Manchester agency will undertake strategic design and digital projects for both LV= and Umbro.
“The collapse of Thomas Cook and the loss of two major projects overnight brought some challenges to the last quarter of 2019, so we’re very pleased to see this year beginning on a more positive trajectory!” said Oli Taylor, Co-Founder of Absurd.
“Since launching in 2017, we’ve been fortunate enough to have worked on some really interesting projects for a diverse range of clients – global brands and blue-chip businesses through to scale-ups – with briefs that have allowed us to push the boundary and be experimental; something that’s evident in the results we’ve delivered.
“We’ll be working with talented teams at both Umbro and LV=, who understand the digital landscape and the principles behind great service design, so we’re looking forward to getting started.”
