Manchester-based Digitl has built a new website for Freshwalks, the outdoor networking group.
Established in 2014 by Studio North founder Michael Di Paola, Freshwalks aims to bring the North West business community together through a series of organised walks.
It’s so far organised more than 90 countryside rambles and 40 city walks.
Freshwalks’ new website is a responsive WordPress site that’s fully integrated with Eventbrite and Mailchimp to facilitate ticket sales and enable data-driven email marketing.
The website also features the profiles of regular attendees plus a section summarising the difficulty, route and length of each walk.
Di Paola said: “Our mission at Freshwalks is to reinvigorate both body and soul, allowing participants to make new contacts, share personal and business challenges and gain some fresh perspective. We needed a website that helped us to achieve that and Digitl has done a fantastic job encapsulating what we stand for.”
Darren Ratcliffe, founder of Digitl, added: “I’ve been a keen participant in – and an advocate of – Freshwalks since its inception so it was great to work on this project. I hope the new site will play its part in inspiring a whole new set of walkers who want to network in the great outdoors.”
Digitl has also worked with the likes of Soletrader, Bathroom Takeaway, Debenhams and Forever Manchester.
