Evolved Search, based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, has set targets to increase revenue by 270% by August 2022, creating an extra 45 jobs in the process.
The search agency also has the long-term aim of employing over 100 people within the next five years.
Based in Newcastle’s creative hub The Toffee Factory, the business offers SEO, PPC, Content Marketing, and Digital PR as part of its offering.
Following a successful 12 months, the agency is on track for a 70% increase in revenue on last year and to hit the £2 million mark by the end of 2019, while the team has grown by another 10 members, taking the overall headcount to 31.
Evolved Search has also strengthened its management structure ahead of its five-year-old celebration next month.
Ian McIntosh has been hired as Managing Director and fellow co-founder David Watts as Digital Innovations Director. Tom Etherington has moved to Operations Director and John Ridley has been promoted to Head of Content & Outreach.
The new roles will provide an increased focus on service proposition and delivery, as well as career progression and development, with Etherington overseeing the SEO and PPC marketing departments, and Watts taking the lead on research and innovation.
