Play Your Cards Right, Bullseye, Strike It Lucky and The Price is Right will be returning to the screens later this year, with Alan Carr’s Epic Gameshow.
The 7 x 60minute series has been commissioned by ITV and will be filmed at MediaCityUK’s Dock10.
It will see contestants hoping to win, by playing some of the classic gameshows.
“It is such a privilege for me to be involved in these truly iconic shows that have brought so much joy to my childhood. A little bit of nostalgia but a whole load of fun. Big shoes to fill I know, but these shows should be back on telly for a whole new generation to sit down and enjoy with their family just like I did all those years ago!” said Carr.
It was ordered for the channel by ITV’s Head of Entertainment Commissioning, Siobhan Greene and Commissioning Editor for Entertainment, Joe Mace.
“We are really excited to bring these brilliant shows back to prime time with Alan Carr, they are the perfect match and we can’t wait for the audiences to fall in love with both,” said Mace.
It will be made by Talkback, which is part of Fremantle.
