Today we can announce that the Managing Director of Twitter UK will take up the special guest speaker slot on Day Two of Marketing Show North 2019.
The two-day expo – the biggest marketing event of its type outside London – will take place at EventCity in Manchester on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th February 2019.
UKFast, the Manchester-based hosting provider, will be the event’s lead sponsor, with Channel 4 and Maru/Blue the event partners.

Dara Nasr, who will speak in the 10:35am slot at the Keynote Theatre, was made MD of Twitter UK in November 2015 after holding Head of Sales and Sales Director roles at the social media giant.
Dara, who has also worked at Google as a Senior Industry Manager and Head of YouTube and Display, will be speaking as part of the Wavemaker-sponsored talks at the beginning of Day Two.

Other industry leaders speaking at the expo include Fergus Campbell, Head of Communications for Gumtree, Alice ter Haar, Deliveroo’s EU Marketing Senior Manager and Vimto’s Head of Marketing, Emma Hunt. Exhibitors include the likes of the BBC, Bureau Van Dijk and Dotmedia.
Marketing Show North will feature over 100 exhibitors showcasing the very best in marketing, digital, broadcasting, PR, web design and development, publishing and advertising from across the North. It will provide buyers with an opportunity to meet and network with prospective suppliers and learn about the latest industry innovations and technologies.
