Trutex, the Clitheroe-based company, which supplies uniforms to millions of school children has revealed its new branding.
Created by an in-house team and Hebden Bridge agency, The Beyond, it has been designed to underline its Ribble Valley roots.
Instead of the emphasis on the “swooping ‘T’”, it now has an icon based on Clitheroe Castle. It also has a new strapline:
“We had over 100 years of advertising and marketing to look through on which to build the new identity. Some of the slogans and straplines where amazing. ‘Trutexellence’ and ‘Don’t forget my Trutex Mum’ stand out as perfect for their time. We’ve used ‘Made to last schoolwear’ for 2018/19 new identity as the longevity and high quality of Trutex uniforms were highest rated by our customers,” said Gina Holmes from The Beyond.
The new identity will be rolled out across all marketing and products through 2019.
“Times have changed, and from dressing six generations of school children, we’ve changed too. Our latest brand has brought us up to date with how our customers see us and our products – trustworthy, established and reliable,” added managing director Matthew Easter.
