Liverpool-based sports publisher DeCoubertin Books has received a £100,000 investment from NPIF – FW Capital Debt Finance.
The company was set up in London in 2009 by former sports journalist James Corbett, who subsequently relocated to Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle area.
The business initially published record and history books but in 2011 released the autobiography of legendary Everton keeper Neville Southall and has since focused on sport.Since then, it has worked on the autobiographies of Howard Kendall, Bob Latchford and Andrei Kanchelskis, and more recently published a book on the iconic World Cup Italia 90 by sports journalist Simon Hart.
