Pharmaceutical and life sciences marketing agency ramarketing has announced plans to treble the size of its Newcastle base to support its ambitious growth targets.
The agency is moving into the Carliol Square offices being vacated by tech hub and co-working space Campus North later this year. The news follows the launch of a Manchester base for the firm earlier this year, as well as new offices in Boston, USA, which open in November.
Founder Raman Sehgal said: “As a former Newcastle-based start-up ourselves, and now an international business, we are pleased to be moving into what is the perfect space for a creative agency team, and which has been a launch pad for so many successful digital businesses.
“As one of the fastest growing PR and digital healthcare agencies in the UK, our new offices will give us a sizable space to grow into for many years to come. The creative, collaborative and cool nature of the space also provides an ideal platform to nurture our people and attract the finest talent the region has to offer.”
Ramarketing is looking to increase its 20-strong team by around 30%.
Raman added: “With around 7,000sqft available to us, our new home will give us the room we need to increase staff numbers over the next few years and has the bonus of flexible extra space which will be used for events, training sessions and wellness activities that will support a good life balance for our people.
“We very much intend to maintain the reputation built by Campus North in making the space one of the best workspaces in the UK.
Ramarketing was set up in 2009 and specialises in providing design, digital and PR services to companies operating in the global pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life sciences space. Its clients range from fast growing specialist SMEs to some of the biggest industry names in the world.
