Cheshire digital marketing agency We Influence has announced significant investment from Praetura Digital Group.
The investment has been led by Praetura partner Ben Hatton, who sold Rippleffect to Trinity Mirror in 2008 for £5.8 million, and will now join the We Influence Board.
Ellesmere Port-based We Influence was founded by former Webtise owners Graham Withe and Justin Young. Webtise went into administration last summer, following the acquisition of Apposing in January 2016.
We Influence will use the Praetura investment “to help scale growth through 2018 and beyond”.
Additional funds will be allocated to staff development and the infrastructure of the business, with We Influence having recently relocated to new offices at Cheshire Oaks Business Park.
Hatton said: “We Influence has a very strong service offering, a well established client base and an experienced and capable team that has a proven track record across Paid, Earned and Owned media channels.
“The business has already shown that it has tremendous potential, and its capacity to retain and grow client accounts gives me confidence in this exciting investment for the Praetura Digital Group and sits very well alongside our other investments in digital and technology.”
Withe, MD of We Influence, added: “We Influence has ambitious growth targets for 2018 and this investment from Praetura is going to play an important role in helping us achieve them. It will enable us to invest in our staff and infrastructure as well as allowing us to improve our existing service offering. Needless to say, I’m very excited about 2018.”
