Investment bid from Yorkshire-based Oscar nominee to complete animation

A new animation, produced by Oscar-nominee, Chris Hess, is having to seeking external investment to ensure that it can be completed.

The Rumour Mill is being made by Hull’s Bridge Way Films, which was founded up by Bafta-winner, Chris Hees (The Bigger Picture).

Directed by NFTS graduate, Bexie Bush, it uses stop motion animation to examine the past, present and future of energy.

They are now seeking £25k to complete the production. This is to hire animators, kit and art department materials.

The animation features 24 sets and the technique includes pixilation, cut-out animation and object animation.
