Renee Fehsenfeld, the former social media director at Havas Media and iProspect has launched a social media consultancy aimed at SMEs.
Mind Your Social is based in Manchester and will offer group consultancy via video webinar sessions.
“Social media is often an afterthought in the communications mix, with more traditional marketers favouring TV and press. We know that every pound counts for SMEs,” she explained.
“So it is important that we help SME owners to make the most of their social media channels – whether that means giving them the confidence to start, a toolkit, a framework or a strategy to follow. Enabling them to think for themselves is the key to their own future success.”
Fehsenfeld joined Havas Media from Cake Group in 2014, as head of social. 8 months in, she was appointed director of social media at iProspect, where she remained for 2 years.
“Social media moves at such a pace that it can be hard for SMEs to keep up and for SME owners to figure out what is white noise, what is important and to interpret the jargon. Mind Your Social will provide easy, helpful, bite-sized chunks of information as and when they need it,” she added.
