Rob Rinder will host a topical entertainment pilot for Channel 4.

Rinderland will include studio items, pre-recorded comedy sketches and celebrity guests.

The 60 minute, non transmission pilot will be made by Graham Norton’s So Television, which is now owned by ITV Studios.

“We feel it’s about time to reinvent studio entertainment for the modern age. This show, a non-TX pilot, needs to cover all levels of culture, all categories of politics and all the colours of the rainbow. And we’ve found the very man to do it,” explained So Television co-founder and managing director, Graham Stuart.

The show was commissioned by Ed Havard, Channel 4’s head of entertainment and Syeda Irtizaali, commissioning editor entertainment and TV events.
