Manchester’s Spektrix has made a number of senior appointments, including a new UK managing director.
Alice Young, the former head of drama at Trinity College London will be heading up the marketing and ecommerce firm’s UK operations. Young has more than 20 years experience in the UK arts industry and will be responsible for growing its UK business, which includes ticketing for the Lyric Belfast, Hull 2017 and West Yorkshire Playhouse.
Spektrix has also recruited Dan Bass, the former head of motor at comparethemarket. He’s been named director of software engineering.
The third appointment is finance director Manjinder Johal
“With the addition of Alice, Dan and Manjinder, Spektrix is bringing crucial experience into the business and seasoned professionals at the top of their game,” explained Michael Nabarro, CEO and co-founder of Spektrix.
“They each have proven capabilities ideally suited to lead us through a period of substantial growth, as we deliver the most complete ticket sales and marketing solution to the arts and entertainment sector.”
The strengthening of its senior team comes as it eyes further growth in the UK and North America.
