England and Lancashire cricketer, James Anderson, has been named as the brand ambassador for Thomas Cook Sport.
Anderson is the country’s all-time highest international wicket-taker and will work with the travel firm to promote their sporting packages – including the up-coming Ashes Series in Australia.
“We are thrilled to announce Jimmy as an ambassador for our brand and couldn’t have asked to work with a better sportsperson. Our product range has grown significantly in this last 12 months and we’re confident that working with Jimmy will help increase the awareness of our exclusive offerings in a variety of sports,” said Rob Slawson, head of Thomas Cook Sport.
The company already works with Anderson’s county team, with the Thomas Cook Sport Terrace experience at Emirates Old Trafford.
“I’ve always been passionate about sport and will be happy to promote their sporting experiences; I might even get to go on one or two! This is a big year for both myself and Thomas Cook Sport, so it feels a great time to come on board with them,” added Anderson.
