Rentalcars, the online car rental firm, which has a recreation of the Hacienda and an indoor rowing lake at one of its Manchester office, is opening a third office in the city.
The new 22,000sq ft Fountain Street operation will house 350 new staff and it’s due to open in the Spring.
With its current Fountain Street base, plus an office on Quay Street, it will be employing almost 2,000 staff by the end of the year.
“Our new office enables us to continue to offer the best possible experience for our colleagues and customers,” said chief executive, Ian Brown.
“The success of Rentalcars, coupled with the growth of our B2B division, Rentalcars Connect and our ground transportation solution, Rideways means we are continuing to expand our operations in the heart of Manchester – one of the world’s most exciting cities, and anchor of the Northern Powerhouse.”
Recruitment will focus on analytics, tech and product management.
The firm is part of the US-based Priceline Group.
