Peugeot is hoping to “revolutionise” the car buying process with a new e-commerce site.
The Order Online platform has been created by North East agency, Summit.
They were briefed to put customers at the “heart of the sale” and as a result they can trade in or part-exchange, and even apply for finance through the e-commerce site.
“This is a platform that sets a new precedent for the automotive industry, and we are pleased Peugeot recognised Summit as the best online retailing specialist to partner with. Consumer purchase habits have hugely changed in the past few years and it’s only right that the auto industry transforms to reflect this,” said Summit chief executive, Hedley Aylott.
Last year Summit was acquired by TCC Global.
