Sesame Street’s Big Bird and Elmo appear as guests on the new series of The Furchester Hotel, on CBeebies.
The programme from CBeebies and Sesame Workshop returns to the channel later this month and Big Bird will also be reading a Bedtime Story on the channel on 1st November.
Set in a hotel, led by the Furchester family, the characters find solutions for the various problems that arise with their unusual clientele.
Aimed at 3-6 year-olds, it is filmed at the Dock10 studios. The 50×11 minute run, and extended Christmas special feature other animals that Muppet aficionados’ may recognise, including Count von Count.
Should you require further facts, BBC Children’s told Prolific North that approximately 1500 cookies were handbaked in Salford “using a special secret recipe” for the Cookie Monster to devour.
The series begins on 31st October at 7.40am.
