Pete Zaborszky, CEO, BestVPN.com
Why did you start BestVPN?
I started it in 2013, when I realized the VPN industry was taking off. I launched six months before Edward Snowden came out with his revelations, and since then the privacy/cybersecurity market has exploded.
Tell us more about the product?
We review VPN providers in as much detail as we can. We built our own servers that scientifically tests the speeds of VPNs three times a day. This is market leading within the industry. Most other brands just test VPNs on their home connection which means they aren’t as accurate.
Each VPN software is scored by BestVPN.com and a review is written
Where’s the business at right now?
We are always looking to consistently evolve and improve how we review VPN services. The speedtest mentioned previously was a great technological advancement. We are currently working on some other ways to scientifically test VPNs, to allow people find the best option to suit their specific requirements.
What are your aims for the next year?
Despite a tough year with some new competition coming into the market, the team has grown and we are working hard to stay the biggest VPN comparison site.

The team behind BestVPN regularly do blog posts comparing VPNs for specific uses
