Moneysupermarket to open Manchester office in April

Moneysupermarket Group will open an interim office in Manchester in April to accommodate its product engineering team.

The first group to move into the office will be the mobile app team.

The company is looking for a permanent base in Manchester, which will be additional to its offices in Ewloe and London, where it employs more than 600 people.

Moneysupermarket Group has an annual turnover of £282 million and is an established member of the FTSE 250.

It owns MoneySuperMarket.com, TravelSupermarket.com and MoneySavingExpert.com.

The interim office is in Spring Gardens in the centre of Manchester, although a spokesperson told Prolific North it was too small to become permanent.

Tim Jones, chief information officer at Moneysupermarket Group, said: “We’re delighted to be opening an office in Manchester.

“By establishing this new centre of excellence in the UK’s northern digital powerhouse, we will be well placed to attract the right product engineering and technology talent to drive our plans for growth.”
