Republic of Media has promoted Simon Crunden to joint managing director, alongside current MD Stuart Feather.
Working out of the Manchester agency’s Edinburgh office, Crunden joined the firm in 2012 as head of planning. A year later he was promoted to the board.
“Republic of Media has seen exceptionally strong growth over the last few years and recently focussed on creating a structure which would encourage this trend to continue. Strong, forward looking leadership is central to this, and Simon brings us a blend of the attributes we sought – openness to new innovative ideas, a focus on our customers’ business, and the delivery of consistently high professional standards,” said Feather.
Crunden has previously worked at OMD and Feather Brooksbank.
“This is a really exciting time for media planning with digital disruption and innovation creating fantastic opportunities for clients and agencies agile and motivated enough to take advantage. I’m delighted to be leading the Republic of Media team as we seek to deliver our ambitious growth plan,” added Crunden.
This year, the media planning and buying agency has won new clients including Tennent’s Lager, Historic Scotland, Human Appeal International and Well+ Pharmacy.
