Manchester agency Intelligent Conversation – formerly Judge & Howard – has appointed two new senior consultants.

Kam Arkinstall, a PR and social media specialist with over eight years’ experience, joins from online STM (Science, Technology and Medicine) publisher BioMed Central where she managed strategic content and multimedia development.

Sarah Tarmaster, who joins from Down at the Social, has worked for a diverse range of organisations including consumer brands, education bodies, local authorities and charities such as Groundwork.

She has also run food and drink blog North West Nosh for the past five years.

The appointments follow a series of account wins and expanded client briefs for the recently re-branded Manchester-based agency, including English Fine Cottons, care tech start-up 3rings and the United Kingdom Homecare Association (UKCHA).

Intelligent Conversation MD Libby Howard said: “We’ve always strived to hire senior professionals from diverse backgrounds, with skill sets that go beyond ‘traditional PR’. It’s a strategy that has worked well for us; the quality of our team is one of the biggest factors behind our business growth. Sarah and Kam are perfect additions to the Intelligent Conversation team.”
