Hair styling brand, Cloud Nine, has appointed MediaCom Leeds ahead of a 6-month national print and digital campaign.
Last month, the company announced that another Leeds agency, Turn Key, would be creating its first ever global promotion, “No Rules.”
“Cloud Nine is one of the most exciting brands to have emerged in beauty and grooming in recent years, and has quickly established itself as the first choice of professional stylists both in-salon and backstage at fashion week,” stated Danielle Bateman, board director at MediaCom Leeds
“The quality of the products and the company’s expertise speak for themselves and over the course of the next six months we’ll be focussing our media strategy on helping more high-end consumers, early adopters and influencers get to grips with the brand and help spread the word.”
The brand was established in 2009 by ghd founder, Robert Powls and following a competitive pitch, MediaCom Leeds will devise and implement the media strategy. This will involve a prominent presence in women’s glossy print titles, website display advertising and iPad editions.
There will also be targeted YouTube adverts and blogger outreach.
“We’re delighted to be embarking on the next part of our journey along with MediaCom Leeds. It’s great to be able to benefit from the passion and dedication of an out-of-London agency, with the expertise and resources of a major global network along with a level of media insight and expertise that is second to none,” added Gavin Rae, commercial director at Cloud Nine.
“Combining this desirable media presence with the impact of our creative work, delivered by our brand agency Turn Key, will make for a powerful campaign over the coming months.”
