ITV has refused to deny reports that hugely successful comedy drama Cold feet could be set for a revival, more than a decade after it was cancelled.
The broadcaster is said to be in talks with the stars of the Manchester-set series, one of its most popular shows of the last 20 years. It was originally produced by Granada and created by Cheshire-born Mike Bullen.

Original stars James Nesbitt, John Thomson and Hermione Morris are all said to be in talks, with plans to schedule the show in its old Sunday night slot in order to fill the void left when Downton Abbey ends later this year.
An ITV spokeswoman said: “This is speculation as there’s always so much interest in a Cold Feet reunion.”
The original show, which also starred Fay Ripley and Helen Baxendale, ran for five series between 1998 and 2003 and followed the up and down love lives of three couples.
The final episode of the original series drew 10.7 million viewers.
Cold Feet has been a hugely profitable series for ITV, having been broadcast in over 34 countries and remade in the United States and several European countries. It also spawned merchandise including soundtracks and spin-off books.
