Absolute Radio’s Pete Mitchell is hosting a series of special shows looking at the Madchester era.
Airing over a week, he’ll be joined by Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets and New Order’s Peter Hook.
The first special will air on May 26th, as Mitchell takes an in-depth look at the Stone Roses, their early career and then their reunion. It will be broadcast at 10pm on Absolute Radio 90s.
The following day, attention will be turned to the Happy Mondays, alongside Shaun Ryder, Rowetta and Bez.
On May 28th, he’ll be joined by Inspiral Carpets to look back on their career, and on Saturday 30th, Peter Hook will talk about the Hacienda.
There will also be shows featuring The Charlatans and James.
