Lancashire’s Artnoire Creative Services has been shortlisted for a FOCAL International Award.
The awards honour producers, filmmakers and creative professionals who use archive within a documentary, film or any other form of production.
The First World War: Life on the Home Front in North West England was made in collaboration with the North West Film Archive at Manchester Metropolitan University.

The NWFA’s Mario Hewitt produced the film with former Granada Television producer, Alison Tarpey, who researched, scripted and directed it.
Post-production was done at 422 and Maxine Pearke was the narrator.
The award ceremony takes place at the Lancaster London Hotel on May 21.
