Aberdeen International Airport has been working alongside Stockport’s KMP on a new responsive website.
KMP moved its existing site over to the Umbraco platform, so as to offer better content management and open the doors to personalisation of content.
The site now works over multiple devices, including mobile and tablet. It also integrates services such as Airport Direct Travel, Chauntry (pre-book car parking supplier), Innovate (for live flight information), as well as exchange rate conversions and lost property.
“We are delighted to have selected KMP Digitata as our partner for the Aberdeen International Airport digital decentralisation project. KMP have worked on many similar projects previously, and come equipped with a strong team with many years of airport-specific experience in which they have delivered countless innovative digital solutions to their clients,” said Jason Stewart, e-commerce manager for Aberdeen Airport.
“With phase one of the project now complete delivering a new website CMS and mobile responsive technology, we are looking forward to phase 2 of the project and to a long and successful working relationship.”
Phase 2 will involve delivering a “completely new and innovative user experience” and improved customer journeys through a new design.
