Mark Hollinshead, the former chief operating officer at Trinity Mirror has been appointed as a non-executive director at Dentsu Aegis.
He’ll be overseeing the marketing firm’s regional operations in the UK, including Carat, iProspect and Vizeum in Manchester.
“Mark’s experience, know-how and capabilities will be a tremendous addition to our management team, as we continue to grow our regional businesses, and build out a best in class content proposition. The opportunities to welcome somebody with Mark’s pedigree to your team are few and far between,” said Dave Lucas, managing partner at Dentsu Aegis Network.
Last month Prolific North reported that Hollinshead was leaving Trinity to become group chief executive of Nova International in Newcastle.
Nova organises the Great Run series of events and owns sport production company, Film Nova.
